11 psi will this be bad
ok so im running 11 psi ;i dont hear any detonation ;my air/fuel gauge is reading all the way rich at WOT ;fuel management is ghettodyne ;so i was wondering if this is to much pressure for a stock d16a6 with ARP head studs ;i dont plan on running 11 psi all of the time ;just at the track

sounds like it might hold but its really up to the motor. my d16a6 spikes to 11psi in third and forth gear sometimes and i havent had problems. just play it safe and always have the car runnning with good oil, premium gas, timing set correctly and all that good stuff.

yea mine spikes to 11 in the same gears; but then it goes to 10 ;i run 92 octane ;i ate up a mustang gt last night ;his excuse was my oil light was on and traction probs ;he dont have traction probs like me

nice kill. its always great to say his 4.6l got beat by a 1599cc. yeah just keep it well maintained with good gas check the plugs every week or so, and what I hear, all the high horsepower guys check the oil before they leave the house

I think 11PSI is kinda close to the limits of the honda MAP sensor. I'm pretty sure someone got a ghettodyne map with my boost cut code in it - this would be a good idea to save your motor from over-boosting.
