The v band setup im currently running IMO sucks *****. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

It has a teflon seal (which also aligns the 2 bands) which must be removed for exhaust use !

So your stuck trying to align the bands by eye.

On a good note I put the turbo in today, I swapped my old h1c exhaust housing right onto it since I already got the v band welded onto it.

So what's the skinny on the old turbo Joe? You had it rebuilt and it still smoked? I'm looking for a turbo for the 850R and wanna try something different. If it's not too hosed would you let it go for cheap?

I rebuilt it myself which was cake.
I sent out the wheels for balancing.
When I got it back and began to reassemble it I couldnt see the alignment marks the dude made for balancing.
So I just threw it together.
It still works, I hit full boost a couple more times with it. But sometimes the wheels would get caught and no boost lol.

On a side note though, the shaft was pitted and fins on both wheels are a bit damaged. I wouldnt use it. Im just gonna keep it for the housings.

Wouldnt sell it to ya henry, I dont see any hope in it.
