10psi and stock headbolts ?
#2
let me tell you my experience i used new stock oem bolts on mine and drove it 500 miles to break it in then when I got on it I noticed it cracked two radiators so I replace it with a alum one put integgy 13 psi cap then it bubbled through over flow took off head had resurfaced ARPs no problems now So I hear some say you dont need some say you do in my opinion it is just a good insurance policy so you dont have to redo like I had to
oh my setup
14b running 10 psi

HOWEVER.... If you are building a motor.. do it right. I just grabbed all my parts for my new Z6 build which I will be doing right. I will be using ARP everything, custom length FJ rods, 75.5mm vitaras, and will be going for 250 - 300hp.

Beg to differ unless I am the exception. T25 on a stock Z6 @ 8 psi all the time and spikes to 10 psi before I hit my boost cut. 233K on original motor..... running for months and no issues.

I have never had it on the Dyno. When I had it tuned, the dyno was down so they straight up street tuned it. Good times man. I had the boost cut left in because the T25 is hella small and between 3 and 4k rpm it will spike to like 12-13psi. I really should have ported the wastegate before installing everything because now I'm to lazy to get back in there and port it. I just don't put the hammer to the floor until over 4k rpm. The T25 is so small you are in boost instantly when you push the pedal down any substantial amount. Very quick off the line and holds good all the way up to 80ish. Never really pushed.

as for spiking to 10psi is a diff story than constantly pushing 10..
