Default is 10.7 comp. to high to turbo

I just bought a 88 civic hb with a zc. It has a rebuilt zc and he said he had the head milled to 10.7:1 compression. He also says he still uses 87 octane gas and I did not hear any pinging when I test drove it. It also has adjustable cam gears so I don't now if he backed down the timing.

turboing would be stupid guys my buddy has a supercharged integra running 10.5:1 and they had to tune such on the safe side that he really didnt even make any more power after he got it back. i would say sell the engine and get lower compression highcomp=big problems just beleive me.

ask him how much it got milled... cuz 10.7:1 is a .050" mill, and thats quite alot for a rebuild..
