Default 1 step colder spark plugs

ive heard that when you get turbo, its best to use the 1 step colder spark plugs. from what i gathered, ngk makes them. i have a 99 civic ex [d16y8] turbo. i was wondering what model should i get? thanks

i also have a y8 and will be putting on my turbo setup this weekend. I was told to use the ngk 1 step colder plugs with the part number 4291-ZFR6F-11

Look in the FAQ section at the bottom there is a link to Jackson Racing and they sell the NGK's I bought them for under $20 I also have a d16y8.

Running colder plugs helps reduce the chances of detonation. I just run a set of oem replacement plugs re gapped and they work fine for me with no problems.
