I am pretty much done with it cept waiting for this last piece. Anywways... back to the story.
So after some time AND deliberation, i came to the conclusion that my idea of tryin to weld a steel external wastegate port onto a cast iron manifold and making a custom adapter plate (ct26 to t3/t4) would be kinda sketch. After making this decision i was cruisin EBAY, and found an item that had once been sold, but i hadn't seen in a month or so. THE SELLER'S NAME WAS powerboost29.

nah... u ever seen an oem 3sgte mani? its parrallel with the botom of the exhaust port flange. and with the like 3 feet of engine bay space in a 5th gen celica? its insane.. the engine block is only like half the engine bay

It looks like a Cast piece, probably what, 2-2.5 inches in height? I think it will do just fine. On my Focus I did a similar piece that was probably at least 4" which mounted to the stock manifold then to my T3 with the external port in between.

IMHO, it's not made of cheap thin material that's shitty welded so you'll be fine.

Yeah, but you edited it, so I didn't know what car you have. lol

Colin had that same celica with a turbo kit on it, but I can't for the life of me remember what the manifold looked like.

haha.. edited it.. yea i guess u could call it that.. for a sec i was like "edited it".. wtf is he talking about.. anyways take a look at the manifold.. its kinda a bad pic to see the manifold-turbo flange but ucan see it doesnt sit very high off the work bench.
