-=Need Help with Integra GS-R TURBO installation=-
Hello everyone and thanks for your inquiry. I have recently purchased afew items for my turbo kit. I have already started to install it myself, but I have some questions. First let me start off with my setup:
1994 Integra GS-R (120,000k)
B18C1 (new timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, etc. full tuneup)
Turbonetics T3/T4 Super 60 Turbo
Meutek Turbo Manifold
Tial 38mm Wastegate (.6 bar spring = 8-9ps)i
HKS SSQV Blowoff Valve
30x10x2.5 Front Mount Intercooler
2.5 Intercooler Piping
So far everything has been going smoothly, I have completely removed my oil pan, the exhaust manifold, headers, radiator, fans. Here is one of my questions... the turbo I am using, is identical to the one in this picture: http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...0db9c&ei=UTF-8
If you look closely, you will see a 1/8" vaccum opening on the turbo.. do I have to connect this to a vacuum source? Is this a big deal? I dont even have the proper fitting for that.
also, Is it true that I should use smaller charge pipes from my turbo to intercooler? Someone told me that I should do 2" piping from turbo to intercooler, and 2.5 from the
intercooler to the manifold... Now another question.. Where do I hookup my oil feed? Does anyone have pictures of their oil feed source on their GS-R? And my last question....My manifold says 35/38mm compatible.. and the opening where the flange connects to is alot smaller than the hole on my Tial 38mm gate.. Is this normal? Or are the holes supposed
to be the exact same size?? Any help is appreciated.. I will post pictures of my entire installation next week

What are you refering to? To the vacuum souce on the turbo? Would this harm the setup in any way? The reason I ask is because I see alot of turbos that dont have
vacuum hoses connected to the turbo itself. only the wastegate, bov, etc. But not the turbo. So why would I need a vacuum hose to go to the turbo? I just dont want to
mess anything up

That hole on the compressor should have a nipple on it (get it at an auto parts store) and a vaccum hose going to the bottom hole on your wastegate.
Get an oil like kit at http://www.---------------------------/oil.shtml they are like $85 but have everything you need. for the oil source you put the "T" fitting included in the oil line kit where your oil pressure sensor plugs in and the sensor plugs into that fitting. It is located right above your oil filter.
Your charge piping can be all the same size, although yeah some people have the hot side .25-.5 in smaller its up to you.

Ok thanks guys and thank you iFly87 for the details and picture. So that is exactly what I will do, I will get a hose and link the compressor to the wastegate. I just need to find the proper fitting for it. I went to the autozone, and they didnt have a "vacuum fitting" but more like oil fittings.. i didnt go that route because it didnt look like it would deliver much of an air flow. Also, does anyone have pictures of any vacuum source on their stock GSR manifold? Im not exactly sure which one to use for the BOV

Okay, but then what do I do with the vacuum inlet on the compressor? Also, where is a good spot on the manifold to link it to? I am using the OEM GSR manifold.
