Default *update* pix added! some noob questions (yes, I'm a NOOB)

I've been collecting parts for the turbo kit and this is what I have so far. the engine is obd1 d15b vtec running p28. Car is 89 civic hatch.

t3 turbo(.42/.4
stealthmode oil line kit
450cc injectors
FMIC
walbro 255lph fuel pump
35mm Tial WG(10 psi)
TurboXS BOV
autometer boost guage/oil pressure gauge

the turbo manifold/downpipe/chargepipe will be made
ECU will be chipped and run crome

do you guys spot anything else I may need? I know I need couplers but where do I order them?

thanks in advance.

Wayne (NOOB).

Check LSD Motorsport or Tuner Toys for couplers. Look in our sponsor section for contact information for these companies. If the 450cc injectors are the peak and hold type, you willl need a resistor box.

http://www.siliconeintakes.com/hump-hose.htm

they also sell reducers. Or just go to napa and get some radiator hose that is the size of you piping and chop out pieces to use as couplers

Don't really need the A/F guage unless its a wideband but you should get an oil pressure guage

yeah, I picked up both gauges for 65 bucks. so if someone wants it, we can make a trade or something. how does a dumptube work? do I need it if I'm running external wastegate?

dumptube i guess isn't needed but would be a great thing to have can acctually increase power...if you don't run one when you reach full boost and your wastgate opens it will bypass the excess exhaust gas right into your engine bar, cause many negative thins..increase underhood temp. turbo sucking in hot exhaust and not cool clean air...and its just plain messy...either re route the dumptube into the exhaust or have it go down and angle back towards the back of the car...Evans has some dynos showing some major differences in Hp out put due to a downpipe letting the exhaust out side of the engine bay...HTH

Oh I have a Sunpro oil pressure guauge I don't know if it works but yours for $5 shipped, guage and sender..if you want it

now the question about oil pressure gauge. I want to keep all gauges autometer...so here goes. I'm checking out stuff on ebay and I found that there are electrical and mechanical oil pressure gauges. How do I know which one I need? I saw the stealthmode oil kit has another thing that can add a oil pressure gauge onto the firewall ( the firewall kit). which one do I use? electrical or mechanical?

My fab guy is welding me the turbo manifold/DP and dump tube this week/end. seems like things are going great so far!

thanks for answering the questions.

one more. I see some people has dsm injector clips. do I need to have them or does the stock d15b injector clips will work?

TIA!
