When i am at idle, i hear this ploping noise coming from my engine and muffler. What can this be? I started hearing this noise after i change my injectors to some 450 cc injectors. Can it be timing? How do i do timing on my JDM B16a2 motor?

 

Get a timing light and see where the timing is setting. And if it needs to be adjusted losse the 12mm bolts on the Dist. and watch the timing marks till the timing is set where you want it.

Also Check your plugs as they maybe fouled as well.

yea ok if he does that on a 90 crx with out putting in a timing jumper he is gonna ---- his ---- up. and if he does it on a 89 civic dx HB without removing the factory jumper he can ---- his ---- up also.

Sounds like your running really rich..... IMO, do you need that big of injectors?

 

what is your set up? boosted, n/a? what are your settings on you afc? it does sound like it may be running rich, check your plugs, if they're dark, your running rich and prolly fouling out your plugs. if that's what it turns out to be, just lean out you afc settings

if he is turbo, or plans on going turbo, yes, all he has to do is lean them out some more, he obviously has an afc, or the car wouldn't even run with 450's

 

Some kid i know put a skunk manifold and aem fuel rail and regulater with 450s and the thing barely starts and boges like crazy.
