** TB options for Victor X

So over the summer I am building an LS/Vtec to replace the motor in my LSt . Basic run down:

Fresh bore and hone 81.5mm
Eagle rods
SRP 81.5mm 9:1CR pistons ::)
Honda bearings
ITR/GSR oil and water pumps
Undecided on timing belt (OEM vtec belt prolly)
Assembled by me

I have a B16 head, freshly remanned by a machine shop. Including new valves, ITR springs and retainers, GSR cams ... paid $400 :y

Once upon a time I bought a turbo off a turbo deisel from a car dealership for $90 and then traded it to a kid on HT for a NIB Victor X IM for B16 :4

Plan to use a GE head gasket, and hondata or similar IM gasket ...

I need a throttle body ... I am trying to get this motor complete and ready to run by fall without robbing stuff off my LS cause I want to drive it all summer.

So ... what would you say is the best TB I can get for not alot of $$$? No $200 billet stuff please ... and the less hacking required the better ...plug and play would be sweet ... seems like I read once an H22 TB is larger than B series and swaps right over ... confirmation ????

Thanks

b16 TBbored out shoud do the trick, other than that a mustang or a h22 TB will do the job but probably require some morification and porting on your end

Man don’t take me to serious because I may be wrong .But I don’t think an H22 throttle body would work on a B series intake manifold without some type of conversion plate.
I haven’t seen the two side by side either though so who knows. An h22 throttle body just seems way bigger to me. I doubt the bolt pattern is the same.

But I hope I’m wrong and it works for you.

h22 tb is smaller then a stock type r

I'd go with the edlebrock 75mm tb (150) and adapter plate for the manifold for (30) .. nad bore it out.. thats what a couple people here are running.

IDK where I picked that up. I could be totally wrong. I was hoping it would fit and run the same TPS ... so not so much hack ... thats what drives me away from the mustang TB .... $$$ will prolly be the deciding factor..
