Default *** rubber hose to FPR!! ****

replace that vaccuum hose to the FPR regularly!

Since I got my car running a couple weeks back I've been tuning the bins and slowly working up in RPM, when I got to around 5000 RPM it seemed I couldn't get enough fuel to the engine, I fattened up the bins and the problem went away... then it came back, then it went away etc. etc., I couldn't figure it out, was getting real dissapointed/frustrated, and thought that something major was wrong with my ECU etc.

The car also displayed intermittent lean spots all over the place under boost when I was datalogging, I had a very unstable O2 sensor signal.

I must have inspected the rubber line from the manifold to the FPR 5 times and decided that it looked fine, no holes or splits, well yesterday I decided that it was old and had probably lost most of it's elasticity so I replaced it. No more fuel problems! No more hesitations, it revs much more willingly and for the first time last night I was running stinking rich and banging off the rev limiter and lovin it

I swear I'm going to replace it every month, that hose was causing me a lean condition that could have cost me my engine!

It's funny how boost brings out all the weaknesses in an engine!
