I honestly don't see why on "almost" any car why you cant' do such a thing as turbo it, AS LONG AS you don't get greedy! Take what it gives you and don't push it for everylast bit of power it'll make or bust, or it will BUST!
Just build the engine, get some good fuel and timing managment, and go to town!

wow if that is so then that T3 50 trim will barely be sufficient for 5.5psi.

I worked at a Nissan dealership for 6 years before we split up, and honestly when the QR25 first came out it had so many problems with oil consumption and bottom ends just ------- siezing. I have probably done 7 or 8 motor jobs in Sentra's/Altimas in the last 2 years I worked at that shop. It was just a freaking joke, and these cars were not even modifed whatsoever. I just think they are very poor designed engines, the rods are super small, ring lands are small and not put together well from the factory. They should have never got rid of the SR20!

Now if you are going to boost one, ----... where the ---- do you start, I guess you have to ask yourself a few questions, like.. do you care about voiding your warranty? do you care about longevity? if you blow it up how are you going to respond... maybe cheat the dealer and put the car back to stock? that may work. I know our dealership wouldnt give a ---- if it was blown into pieces and towed in, but it couldnt have any aftermarket ---- on it. What are you going to do about fuel/Spark? I'd assume your gonna stick with OBD2 and just run a piggy back system or fmu? Because theres no way your gonna pass a smog check with megasquirt or a full standalone.

that's all the valid Q's I've been thinking about so far. We'll have to see in the end what he decides to do. no doubt about it, turbo is the cheapest hp,......
