Who cares? All he'd have to do is tow it home and remove all traces of a turbo setup in which he'd simply tow it to the dealership and no doubt get his sparkly clean warranty backed up.

I understood ya the first time... Its why i suggested that people talk in terms of hp and not psi.
Just like most d series stock blocks can barely handle 200+hp be it 10psi on a t25 or 6psi on a t4 so on so on.

and wouldn't a bent rod put up enough alarm flags that the dealer would call foul play even with out proof?

i worked at a nissan dealer when those cars 1st came out. they had quite a few people go out and run the ---- out of them right off the bat. they are really cracking down on their warranties. they investigate blown engines in every way possible. most likely if you ruin one with a turbo they will know. its not hard to see when a car has been worked on

Same way they'll know if you've been in an accident, blame it on the brakes and they plug and play into the computer and find out you've been running the car at excess speeds the whole time you've owned it. But, there are ways around everything. ----, I've thrown rods without nitrous or forced induction, it's called having fun.

if it's an SR20DE, get the exhaust manifold, turbo and injectors from an SR20DET, then use an S-AFC to tune it

there's been alot of good points brought out guy's. I've seen many dyno sheets of many guy's turboing the 03'-04' sentra models' with good outcome. So far the trend seem's to be 5.5psi = 248whp, and 8psi = 300whp. which is a nice upgrade from the stock 145whp. I honestly don't see why on "almost" any car why you cant' do such a thing as turbo it, AS LONG AS you don't get greedy! Take what it gives you and don't push it for everylast bit of power it'll make or bust, or it will BUST!
