what kind pipe to use for manifold extension

i have a cast manifold i made into a topmount but i need to make an exlention about 3" tall that turns and angles the turbo slighty to clear my valve cover, i was gona make it or have it made with probly 2.5" pipe and 2x t3 flanges. it has to support a holset. what size pipe would you guys use? would normal exhaust pipe be aright or somthing thicker gauge?

Get some think steel and mill it into a wedge shape. Drill mill and tap the holes.

my turbo is stuck to some standard 2.5 mild steel from racing solutions

I would use some rectangle steel tubing.

this is what i would do, the one holes would be straight through, and one side would be tapped, or studded.
