Why polish it? Like the polished look is gonna last long anyways. It's a log mani. Thats like saying I'm gonna buy all season radial for forged rims. Sounds like a waste to me.

The welds are hot as balls but if it fits and flows exhaust through the turbo I guess it's gonna work.

porting yes but to do it right your gonna spend more on porting tools than the manifold

Polish the inside? Just leave it the way it is and worry about other stuff. Dude it's a log manifold not some some equal length manifold with a burns merge collector or anything special.

That wont do it

You need carbide bits real ones run around 50 a piece for ones that arent complete junk

then a porting kit rollers etc to clean up the marks

then a good die grinder electric ones run around 150-300 for a quality one that doesnt run like a jackhameer

i looks like it needs to be opened up some more looks like ---- to me. looks like its gonna make your motor work harder to get the exhaust out that little hole. i personaly would open that fucker up some more

Of course external is better. You might as well get an external wastegate since you already have a manifold that is meant to be used with one. If you are worried about routing the dumptube back in to your downpipe, just leave it open. Have the dumptube go from the wastegate straight to the ground.

great idea yeah.. but for tune it (car)..it would be right run w/ open dumptube? (when i boosted im not to tune my hatch but i hope to tune it some day :1).

Yes you can tune a car with an open dumptube, people do it all the time.

that log manifold is a disaster. looks liek it was welded at 450 amps with about 3cfm gas flow with no post purge

Im a big fan of log manifolds since their eazy to make and flow good enouf for a street car.
That log looks about the same as the one on my crx.

My car probably makes around 300ish on a log so ull be fine with that one :y
