Hahhaa my dad let me at a oxy/act setup at that age At 11 I was climbing framing houses in the summer and was the designated truss monkey. Good times. I need to teach my daughter to weld. She's almost 6 now

Mine doesn't like to get dirty, but she seems to like dyno days. She went with me today to Aaron Lail's shop, TruDYNO Sports, to help put a beating on Mike @ LSD's new clutch line:

Good stuff.

I'll tell you how it's working so far, but first the DISCLAIMER:

We have less than 200 miles on the clutch so far, and are operating at the lower end of it's target torque rating. So far it holds great, but I'm not endorsing ---- until it has some miles and serious abuse on it... which is great by Mike, he wants a fully tested high quality product to offer, and Goforth is happy to beat on this thing and ship it back if it fails for good old fashioned R&D purposes.

Keep in mind I have no unreal expectations about what a good clutch is at this level of output... there's so much friction, wear, and driveline shock at this amount of power that it's not going to last as long as a lesser clutch at lesser power, but it's getting hammered down on before it gets JD Approved.

Aright, enough of my mouth, here's the skinny so far:

Already broke an axle with it, laid down 411 whp after a bunch of wheelspin on the dyno rollers sort of problems, and punked out an allegedly 560 whp HT bling-built GT-something or other-ARRRRRRR!!11 drag car whose owner was scared of a dented up CRX with a tiny journal bearing T04E.

That 411 would be 470 whp on the local Dynojet - I made 325 off a H22 that day that I had made 375 on the Dynojet two weeks earlier on the same tune. With a little clean up of the overly rich AFRs and tweak of the ignition I should be able to hit 450 on the Mustang we were on Saturday at the same boost level; it made 334 wtq for crying out loud. I'll probably take it to the local Dynojet and get Mike a 550 whp dyno sheet to ----- about.

If she was driving the car on the dyno, that would be the amazing thing.
