welding SS to aluminized steel
Quick question — can stainless be welded to aluminized steel? I'm collecting piping for my exhaust. The welding will be done by a friend with a Mig. Do we need special gas or anything.

treat it like galvanized - grind the coating off. probably don't want to breath a bunh of aluminum dust either do i'd do it outside.
