congrats on the build. thanks for sharing with all the pics. most people never post this many pics. how much boost are you running to this motor with 1000cc injectors? instead of trying to make your bends, just purchase mandrel bent piping. it will save you a lot of fab work and it will look better. mild steel mandrel bends are fairly cheap.

25-30 pounds of boost is a hell of a lot of boost. is the motor built for it?

yeah this setup has been run many times on the 3000gt platform just never been custom built. has 8:1 compresion ratio and other internals that are built to withstand boost because its stock with twin turbos

stock turbo vehicles are tuned and built for reliability and most of them are set at 15lbs or less. theres no way the stock engine is going to stay in one piece at 30lbs of boost. my guess is 550-600hp if it holds together.

Yep im looking at getting 550AWHP and the stock engine can handle up to 700AWHP with stock internals so i was told from a very creditable source and i see it done all the time

Day6

almost finished up the back o2 pipe and some comparison shots. I did go to all the shops in town and they said they couldn't make bends that tight without costing $100+

not sure why the pics are blurry ill get better ones tomorrow

ok. if you say so. i wouldnt trust what other people say when it comes to your engine. make sure you post a vid of it when your done. cant wait to see it in action.

are you seriously going to use that mangled downpipe? just purchase some mandrel bent tubing. they cost ~10.00 a bend for mid steel.
