actually a 99-00 si was reinforced behind the subframe.
the 92-95 si wasnt cause it didnt have a rear sway bar I have a ASR subframe reinforcement and in the instructions it says if this is on a 99-00 si to just leave the rear bracket out .... I can post a link if you like
but who cares about that
its just a sub frame

it will be fine with the gsr rear bar, i am running completely STOCK suspension on my car with gsr front and rear sway(thankx mike ) yet i drive the ---- out of it everyday it hold up just fine. ppl are having problem with thick one like 22mm ones only

Frank, ppl are ripping sub frame even WITH beaks/AS-R/even the one in the link u provided. it still happen but not as often as leaving it without one. some hold up fine without one and some rip it in a week even with stiff suspensions

 

ive had the 22mm for a while now and i occasionally hit the canyons... no problems at all.

well at least mine is holding strong. Surprised you nigs resurrected this thread. Oh and i can confirm that the EM1 Si does have reinforcement, if that's what you want to call it. It's seriously a 3/4"x2" piece of metal on the back side of the swaybar mounting location, and is probably thinner than a credit card .
