Some HMT style fabrication from across the pond!

10 Attachment(s)
Hi,

This is my first post so i thought i would dredge my photo bucket account for some photos of the stuff i have fabbed.

First up is a mig'd mild steel weld elbow mannyfold for a friends 3dr (kinda like a merkur). The engine is not the usual cosworth one but a zetec (same as in your zx3) with a fair bit of head work (all CNC'd), eagle rods, diamond pistons, GT30 and run with megasquirt that i mapped.
These pics are a couple of years old now from what i like to call my "pre TIG period".

Power was 330bhp@bar and much more now we have wound it up. Not had a chance to get back to the dyno but should be 400 bhp+.

The flywheel we designed and had machined to run the cosworth clutch on the zetec and bolt to a T5.

wow nice. Looks like a lot of money in that setup though. Was the mani the only thing fabbed? you didn't show any charge pipe pics or the exhaust so i had to ask.

Video of it running. Is this what you call a rip?

Whats this porn rule all about then?

Re: Some HMT style fabrication from across the pond!

Yes thats what we call a ripper vid. The porn rule is for noobs, so far you done good. One you must post your setup and some pic's; but the most important part for some HMT members is the porn.

Nice 3dr, man. :y

Is that strut brace a one-off piece? I'm kind of in the market for one, and I can fit a cossie-style bar now with my Volvo head (intake doesn't interfere with it.) :)

EDIT: nevermind, I found it. Forge. :6
