Default solid suspension

ok sorry cant spell.But i was wondering since i dont have any rear struts and spring on my crx could i just use a solid bar.Oh i am kinda going for a street drag car.Then i was going to use some spring and make a bar to hold it and still have a little give.Let me know what u guys think or give me some ideas

Honestly I have NO idea what your talking about, Something like you dont have springs/struts on your car and want to put a bar in

he's wondering if he could take out his suspension and replace it with a solid bar(solid suspension)... you could but it'd ride like ---- n chances are at higher speeds you'd crash. try it n post pics of ur outcome.

ya i figured at high speeds it would do that.But would like a little spring keep that from doing it.

that would be an insanely horrible ride. you would probably damage your frame from driving around like that. you are for wanting to do something like that

ya i would but paying like 1g for drag setup is crazy.I was just wondering if anyone has made there own for the track use.

a grand...your smokin. find a cheap set of eibach coilovers (at least the sleeves) then go and get some very high spring rate for the rear and something moderate for the front (400) and throw that on some stock sturts and you have yourself a good budget suspension for dragracing. then once you get some more $$ upgrade the struts.

Jack the back of the car up and put rubber spacers in the rear coils for dragging, see how that works out.

if it was a track car then that would be fine to do. but not as a street car.
