Default So I made my firts mini...(NOW WITH COLLECTOR PICTS)..

**The collector picts are towards the bottom**

Well its not 100% yet but its getting there.I wanted someting that would allow me to keep ac and power steering while using a Saab T25.My wife and I have to swap cars some times and I hated her bitching about driving my old civic with no power steering.Plus being that I'm back in Texas it gets pretty hot here(aug, sept) so I dont have the luxory of ripping out my just the A/C.Plus I want to be able to throw on the stock heat shield(with monor mod).

Well here are some picts.Let me know what you guys think so far.

this is what I came up with.I dont know if any one else is using this design.I think it will out flow a log and thats what im looking for

Here it is installed.Fits really well considering I never mocked it up.I just started welding with the idea in mind .there is plenty of room as you can see.but Im still going to get a slim fan for the a/c condensor.

upskit view .Yes,I know the collector will be cocked. It need to be that way so that the wastegate clears the block. It also look wierd couse I manhandled it and bloke loose a couple of tack welds.

This is whats kind of gay. With this desing I couldnt use a standard merge collector. It would of put the turbo too close to the block and too low so Im having to resort the
"merging piramid"..lol!.
Im not too happy with this part of the desing but as long as it still out flows a log mani. Ill be happy. At this point I just want to be one step closer to finishing .It sucks driving a bone stock Honda!

That's gonna be a piece of work to seal around all the pipes and stuff. Have you checked to see how low the turbo is gonna sit?

Ive all ready got it all sealed .You know how we do

It doesnt sit too low.The turbo sits tucked snug towards the block right where the dip stick is on the d16z6.The down pipe will come out pretty much even with the clutch slave sylinder. There is just enough room for a 2.5"down pipe .But then again it is just a little t25.I dont know if a t3 would fit in there.
