Check with Kevin (smileytools) First. He has had issues with regulators having metric threads. I had to send mine back to him for a refund but that was a while ago.

HF ones are $33 all the time. I have two so far. Both are different, but they both work really good.

Mine is threaded SAE. No problems, love having a ball valve one. Main dial reads 4500psi, but it remains to be seen what it can operate too. Reads to 25l/m.
Works like a charm. I love it. & I love my airgas supplier. My new tank was filled to 3400psi. That's getting your money's worth!

Airgas sux big time. They rip you off big time. They charge almost $1 a cube here in LA for argon unless you're on their nuts and buy a grip each month.

Praxair FTW. $0.40 a cube the first time I bought gas, after that only $0.20 a cube.

Oh give me a break. You idiot you live in LA. Everything is more expencive there. There are also multiple types of stores... Find the actual "city center" that handles the distribution to the other outlieing airgas stores.

Airgas here charges $20 even to fill my 180cu^ft tank, $25-27 to fill a 220cu^ft.

Lucky bastard. :P

Hey I'm just telling you my experience with them. Reguardless of where you live. The price difference is an issue.

The distribution center is not close. Depending on the time of day, it could take me an hour an a half to get there. Local place is only 6-10min.
