i was at work thinking about a manifold that would have air-to-air acess on a FWD car. I was drawing and i came up with this.



It is basically like a top mount but corked 90 degrees so the compressor faces the hood.
Will it work?

I will try and make it but i don't know how big of a turbo will fit in there w/o hood clearance issues.

Duh. That thing wont drain and will smoke like a chimney. Turbos are mounted up and down for a reason.

internally lubed turbo would work. but it isnt worth the money ecause that mani prob isnt any better than whats already out there

yea, you really dont want to go more then about 10 degrees of tilt for drain issues. Unless u have a stealthmode oil line kit, then u can do it just like in your picture

yeah i thought about that too man. that would be really nice if we could do that to have some more room, but the oil drain is gravity fed out the bottom, duh why didn't i think about this when i had this idea?
