Default redrilling integra 4x100 hubs for 5x114.3 bolt pattern (failed h-t thread)

so i came across a deal for some of these type s rims.

i figured they would be nice and something different on a db. especially after i send a week and polish them up

so i made a thread asking about redrilling stock db hubs for a 5.114 bolt pattern and got flamed by not only h-t mods, but so super tyte jdm h-t nogs. they dont understand why i wouldn't want to take off my brand new suspension to throw away 1000 on used type r suspension. so if i have time this week i am going to grab a spare hub from the junkyard and see how well it taps out. there was 2 accord ex wagons when i went yesterday that had 11" brakes, so ill snag some calipers and the brackets. and ill at least test fit one side to see how everything works out. my only concern was about where the studs are pressed into the hub. i gotta make sure they are tight. i was thinking maybe lubing (or unlubing) the groved part of the stud with some jb weld to seize in in place once its pressed into the hub. on maybe pressing it in and throwing tac welds on the back. if anyone has tried anything like this throw me some ideas

cant you just make some spacers and have a new bolt pattern in the spacer/adapter

If those wheels are hub centric and fit the hubs your using I dont see a problem with that.I would try to do it in a mill preferably with a rotary table though.

why not just buy new 5 lug hubs and have them pressed in?

because that would solve the problem and take at a minimum of 30 min/side

i can't imagine the studs would come out that easily. you may want to press them out to avoid any damage to the parts involved. as for re-drilling the new rotors, i can draw up the pattern and give you some dimensions if you want. i need to do the same for some nissan rotors anyway. no need for a rotory table to do it on a mill... that is just a lot of extra work and less accurate imo. i don't think i'd trust jb weld on something like this. as long as the new studs fit somewhat snug, they should tighten up when you torque the lug nuts on i'd imagine. you can also take a center punch and peen 4 points around a hole edge to make a pin fit tighter. not always the best solution, but really easy and still effective.

thanks for the ideas aaron. i was def going to make the holes small enough for them to have to be pressed in, the jb weld or thread lock was just to make sure they seal themselves into the holes. at first i was thinknig tac welds but i dident want to throw off the balance.

now i just gotta run back to the junkyards and find the accord wagon calipers i seen and grab the brackets.

what 5 lug hubs are a direct fit onto stock integra nuckles? from what i understand the type r one are a different size so that arent a direct swap

wheel studs come out with 1 hammer hit and to put new ones in you just tap it in and then pull it all the way tight with the lug nut
