you can get away with using some half ass stuff for the dump tube because is only gets hot when it's dumping and it cools pretty fast. Plus it usually will only get hot close to the openin of the gate, or where ever there is a bend in the pipe. Just get some 1 1/2" pipe from advance auto or something. Works mint.

The function of the dumptube is primarily to displace the gases coming out of the wastegate to another place. It really isnt even a necessary part. You definately would want the air warmer for speed so it expels faster. However it doesnt really make much of a difference for a small 4 cyl turbo set up. Use whatever you have around, either 1.5 or 1 5/8" fits best.

you didnt say that, if that is the plan, make sure to use the sharpest angle possible inline with the flow of the exhaust to minimize turbulence and backpressure. Also, go with the 1.5" if you are going to reroute it. ;)
