Always push, EVERY weld I know will tell you that.

unless weld lap joints on 14g or so, the I pull downhand, with low heat , high wire, and high speed.

Push unless for some reason you can't (strange position/angles and such)

I agree. I'm no pro welder or anything like that, but I definitely agree. Push, unless using stick (and I mean that in more ways than one :P)

i usually pull. but ive found myself pushing more and more lately, and ive been getting better as a welder, weird

from my experience welding i noticed that pulling is easier but doesnt penetrate as much and i noticed pushing is a little harder but seems to penetrate more...btw your welds look good just practice a little
