Apparently photobucket is down- so if you're new to this thread, you won't be able to see the bike from where it started, but hopefully they'll get it back up soon.

Anyway- to preface this video, obviously the bike isn't actually done, really it's just together enough to ride down the street. Barely :)

It's running strictly off of a bad mockup battery in this vid, that's why it starts cutting out on the return trip, I knew I only had a limited run :)
On thursday I'll finish up the charging stuff and hopefully ride it a tad further.

Also, the air system isn't in place, just a valve.

But it was fun!!!

Thanks for watching.

awesome.... ;D

I have one teensy little bit of a concern. It might very well have been mentioned already so pardon me it that is the case.... :)

It's safety with regards to your dropdown setup on the rear (which by the way looks fantastic in action).... do you have a way to insure that, when driving at speed, that system could not fail you in mid-flight?

I have had to endure the nastiness of loosing a rear shock ...... not particularly keen on even seeing that hapen to anyone ever again..... :)

That'd be a negatory captain. :(

For the whole last few months of the build, I tried to design something that would work well, not be clumsy, and not be aesthetically crappy. But I failed. I just could not come up with a decent system. My thinking is that I won't be using this bike except for little cruises and such, so hopefully the chances of something like that happening will be much reduced. But trust me when I say, it'll always be on my mind.

Thanks
Sky

Little bit longer ride on this one. Got my regulator and rectifier built and installed, so now I can ride it as long as I want.

I still need to hook up the headlight and tailight, and finish installing the compressor and air tank, make sure it all works good, then tear it all down so I can get it painted!

Thanks for looking!

If you just use 2 valves instead of one, if one shock or valve fails, you will at least have something
