Just got this new mig welder a couple days ago( i helped out in a local garage for the day cause the dudes other mechanic called out and he gave me the mig as payment ;D )after messing around for an hour or 2 and basicly teaching myself me and my buddy (Towdogg) decided to give it a shot and actually make something out of a bunch of crap we had lying around

Top mount will never spool.

Im pretty much positive because Ive done it before on a weak 16 with a h1c holset.

No boost until 3rd gear. Then it took off.

i think it might work though.....not to mention the size of this turbo it spools up when i move it across the room lol ;D .....it only looks big cause of the v-band

Im almost positive that it will spool. Im running a TO4 40 trim top mount setup just like this on my a6. My TO4 makes that thing look like a rhb5. Ok im done with my little rant......lol

By the way mine starts to make boost at 3k and im at full boost by 5k. (in second gear ;)) Only makes about 6 psi in first. lol

Didnt realize the turbo wasnt that big. The v band did throw me off.

I still wouldnt expect quick spool at all in lower gears though.

The first attempt at the "Whitey bends" didnt come exactly like the bends cause i dont have a chop saw insted we used a Sawzall :P

is that welder made by chicago eletric? if so mine looks like it might be the model before that
