get a hf 151

$160

make all the log manifolds and charge piping you want, it's gas feed or fluxcore and you can reverse the polarity.

plus, it's cheap as ----

I am also in the market for a welder. Been looking at the miller diversion 165 but now i have waffles... what i really want is the dynasty 200dx but i only want to spend max 2g

Anyone know of a similar or equivalent machine (read: older and used) that can weld thicker than 3/16" alum for more than 20% duty cycle?

The thermal arc arcmaster 185 is more in your price range and is a really great machine. More features and power than a diversion.

The HTP Invertig 201 is around 2k as well I think.

I just bought a used dynasty 200dx complete with everything for 2100 though... you have to keep an eye out and be ready w/ cash but they do come up. It makes me feel like a superhero when I run it.

Cheers!

Get a Miller/Lincoln/Hobart/Clarke baseline MIG welder. HF ones are poop in comparison.
