so, jay sent me a BOV the other day (free of charge), and I noticed there was a hair line fracture.. as expected, the section cracked off and exposed a leak.. so I tried jbwelding the piece back on, and it works.. but there's a small area of space between the valve and the housing now that is leaking air when I blow through it.. do you guys have any ideas?

I seriously doubt he noticed it. He wouldnt send it if he thought it was garbage.

 

Remove the springs so the valve is out of the way. Mix JB weld, add to the valve seat area that leaks. Let it get slighly hard (still pliable), oil the valve, then put the springs back in.

JB weld now owns your valve seat, and it shouldn';t leak.
