My T3/T4 uppipe build...
I am using a Borla NA header and will be boosting my NA daily driver soon. Don't worry, I have a built 2.5 going in eventually.
Anyway, here are some mock up photos. http://www.vincentfurniture.com/phot...d/IMG_6642.JPG http://www.vincentfurniture.com/phot...d/IMG_6643.JPG http://www.vincentfurniture.com/phot...d/IMG_6644.JPG Some issues that have arisen are A- I built it while using a NON-ABS vehicle for measurement. But the wagon its going into is ABS, so I need to move it a few inches. And B- there might be some axle issues. But probably not. So I would finish it tonight, but the damn cold saw blade has gotten so small, I can't cut anything! |

love it

Oh yeah, the motor/heads/intake were all in the recycle pile until I was smart enough to assemble it into a mockup motor!

Re: My T3/T4 uppipe build...
I did an up pipe in my neighbors 2.5 RS and it was super close to the firewall. Your's may be different but that would never fit in his.

Re: My T3/T4 uppipe build...
I'd suggest using a flexpipe somewhere before the turbo. Other than that (and the welds), it looks pretty cool. Not bad considering they were junk parts.

Re: My T3/T4 uppipe build...
just have SOLID bracing to the engine or transmission block. you need that flex pipe or not

Re: My T3/T4 uppipe build...
Project on hold. Its a PITA to do it without the engine in the wagon. And then its a PITA because I don't have lift.
Yet...... Getting one soon! $500!!!!! This style. Picture not actual lift.... http://www.jobbersmiami.com/images/p...ryraptor_l.jpg |
Re: My T3/T4 uppipe build...
