Default My homemade intake :)

Needed somthing with shorter runners and that woudl fit my engine compartment a bit better. So I loped of 70% of the stock intake and welded a big ol aluminum pipe to it.
Motor is a Toyota 2.4 twincam 16v 2rz, car is a 82 Toyota starlet.
I also got started on the exhaust manifold.

And here is the car. All work done to it at home

Not sure if you could even notice, but that is a different motor from when you seen the car last.
Decided to bump up performance a little from the get go.

It is a 2rz from a 2wd toyota tacoma. 2.4l twin cam 16valve. There are pro rwd imports running this motor 2rz/3rz with stock cranks, stock cylinder walls, stock main caps making 1200+hp. I'll be happy with 600 Got Pauter rods and arias pistons on the way. I still have to add the fuel rail when it gets here. The stock rail and injectors are in the head so they are staying. And I am going to add a second set of 4 big ones for under boost. Or atleast that is my hopes as of now. I have a megasquirt2 setup, but as this progresses I might end up going with something a bit more refined. Not sure yet.

I actually didn't till I looked closer, 600 ponies should be nice
I'm going to have to call dibs on at least 1 ride down the track.
