My first downpipe!
Welds still need some practice but I think it came out really nice.
This 2.5" bend is much better steel than that aluminized crap I spoke of before so now the welds are starting to look like tig welds finally. I also made that flange our of mild steel plate. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...3/DSC00143.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...3/DSC00146.jpg I should have some pics of it installed up sometime tomorrow. |
Re: My first downpipe!
Looks like it will flow nicely.

Re: My first downpipe!
Yeah I tried my best to make everything flush out of 2.5" steel. the only thing I might throw out of the equation is the high flow cat. but we'll see how it performs.

Re: My first downpipe!
Good job man! Hey I'll be over tomorrow with your manual. I'm going to be coming into london to get a lower rad hose because mine is just rigged up for now with a home depot coupler and adaptor. I got the vtec head on my car today eh! ---- that thing pulls hard when it kicks in. I used the factory head gasket so I'm running 12.2:1 compression.
P.S. Sorry for the thread jack. |
