here is one high quality 400m drag-strip, Tarlton... up in Johannesburg....
Then there's a couple of others, but nothing much to write home about, surfaces are grose and they are not well maintained. then there are a couple of air-strips that is fast becoming a lot more popular nowa days....

of coarse the eleagle drag scene is the ***** here..... those are all over the place
and our COPS are the worst in the world.

Here is some of the pictures of the little Nissan pickup.....
It has a 1500cc Nissan motor in it, old school pushrod technology, but still good for some serious asswhoopin..

Some serious Brakes up front, I used VW Caravelle disks and calipers from a Toyota Camry. Needless to say stopping ain't no problem for this one.

Some pics of b4 the facelift, getting it all sorted and settled.......

Some Carbon Fibre on the dash should go over well, I think.
It was severally sunburnt and would have spoiled it all..

The intercooler is from a 2.8 diesel Isuzu Pickup. It's a butterfly that pulls shut when the inlet manifold has vacuum, I guess it is to prevent boost from getting to the engine when you let go of the throttle. It's all empty now, I gutted the inside.
