Hasport started of using place racing swap parts. Took that and actually ran a business correctly. Gil was way ahead of his time but was greedy. He worked with me on my stuff but he treated 99 percent of customers like ---- hence why he isnt around anymore. He sells pipe fittings etc on ebay now

Don't make the part you fill so big, IMO. You'll use less material, weigh less, and so what if it vibrates a little these cars are 10+ years old and nice ones are getting rare.
No offense but you obviously don't know how the process of making polyurethane works. It will be bonded inside the tube welded to the bracket. trust me it will never come out. The only way is if you were to break the bond, which is done one of two ways. Either apply alot of heat to it to reverse the primer, or soak it in MEK (AKA methyl ethyl ketone) which over time will eat the poly. As far as adding weight goes, the poly bonded inside will way less then the entire motor mount itself so thats not an issue. Ive been working with polyurthane for about 5 years now, so i know what im doing.

Also there are wide variety of durometers of polyurethane, ranging from 20A all the way to 60D which is like cement.

in to see the results. i have some plans of making my own mounts, but i will have to use inserts. i do have access to some badass glue that should hold them in though

I believe that is what hasport and all these other companies do. they make inserts and then glue them in. IMO this is a cheap way to accomplish having poly mounts. Don't get me wrong I'm not discrediting any of these companies they make amazing mounts, but like I said its just my opinion.

i think your way is better, but i just dont have that option. i wish i did, but i think gluing them in will work for my plans. glue is a very general term. this stuff i will be using is so much more

you can actually buy polyurethane adhesive through a place like mcmaster. Pretty good stuff
