Anyone here own one? I don't want to spend too much money on one, but i'll spend enough so i end up with something decent.

Stolen parts.com is where I found mine. aka e-bay Try to find something with in a 2 hour drive. Try to stick with a brand you can find parts for. I have a Van Norman model 12. Built in 1942 I paid $400.00 for it 2 years ago The guy I git it from has had it for 28 years no issues. Bridgeports are pricey, but yoiu can always find one and parts.

Guy with a shop down the street from me has a HF one and only isssues he has had was the belts breaking. Also its not heavy enough for some of the work he does
