Correction on that Jago you're wrong about that.
The ID on this TB is 2.5" which (in my opinion) is pretty damn good for what you're wanting to do. |

Just get almost any TB and the throttle cable, a square plate of steel, and a tube the size of the TB. Mount it to plate, cut big hole, weld the adapter to exhaust, route cable inside. OBD1+ B-series = 60mm, most d's = 56mm, ford 4.6L (crown vic, mustang, etc) = 65mm. I just bought 2 ford TB's for $20/shipped each and plan to hook the cable up to an 8lb solenoid. WOT activates switch, auto-cutout in 1/10th of a second.
BTW if you look in the Yellow Pages you'll find some rental places around you. Homeboy Depot also rents them at most stores. Fluxcore madness! O0 |
