b7 throttle body=2.2" diameter. Pretty small for an exhaust cutout.

This is one of the most hilarious threads I've ever read. Like Jago said I think its 2.2" ID on that TB you want it. Let me know I'll PM you with payment details.

Re: manual exhaust cut out

Correction on that Jago you're wrong about that.

The ID on this TB is 2.5" which (in my opinion) is pretty damn good for what you're wanting to do.

No it's not. Try measuring at the IM side.

b7 TB=56 mm

Why did you agree about the 2.2" earlier? You know nothing.

because I remembered measuring the intake side earlier this week and it was 2.5". However, I didn't take it off and measure the IM side. You jump to conclusions and are vague with your answers... you know nothing.

Re: manual exhaust cut out

Just get almost any TB and the throttle cable, a square plate of steel, and a tube the size of the TB. Mount it to plate, cut big hole, weld the adapter to exhaust, route cable inside. OBD1+ B-series = 60mm, most d's = 56mm, ford 4.6L (crown vic, mustang, etc) = 65mm. I just bought 2 ford TB's for $20/shipped each and plan to hook the cable up to an 8lb solenoid. WOT activates switch, auto-cutout in 1/10th of a second.

BTW if you look in the Yellow Pages you'll find some rental places around you. Homeboy Depot also rents them at most stores. Fluxcore madness! O0
