well spent a hour or 2 at the shop with some friends, they did most the work cause i never welded or made ---- before like this, and we had some crucial tools break but it turned out decent for a chopped up free manifold, i think it should hold up for a little while

 

not bad, what did it start out as, or what was it made from?

 

ive made a few of those like that and sold them for over 100 dollars on ebay.

ya it is kinda thin.. i hope my ---- dont fall off on the road. i think its like 6mm steal

gay part is we used to short and to long honda bolts to test fit, when i got ones from the hardware store that were the right length and thread, the bolt head was way big and dont fit next the the welds n ---- its a tight fit for the bolts u can see em in the pic

 

hmm i doubt its gonna fall clean off into the road but id say warpage is a distinct possibility with a flange that thin.

 

your just fine, ive made manis work out of way thinner sjittier material.

damn should of took some pics of the cast-steel penitration, insted you just painted it high temp black which will all burn off in about 15mins

ive MIG'd T3 flanges on HF's before and they havent cracked... im just curious as to what welder you used, and if the flanged warped on you beeing so thin and all.
