it surprised me that there wasn't any dirt in the welds, sense it is mild steel. i built this in about 20 min so i didn't care about warping or heating the ---- out of the caster plates.

oh and this was all 1/8th inch wall tube/pipe. using 1/16th er70s2 rod.

If you look carefully you can see he removed the scale, this is a necessary part of welding steels, but often missed.

Remember, much like paintwork, the key to making good welds is proper preparation.

Ack, I wasn't paying attention and somehow missed the fact that you were the guy that built it.

The reason YOU didn't see any "dirt" in the welds has nothing to do with the fact that it is mild steel.
