you should just tack stuff in midair and then take it down and complete the weld, otherwise looks nice

Yeah it's just that my work space for welding is really narrow. Makes life difficult.

Thanks for the comment.

i'd tuck the muffler up a little higher to help hide the hangers, but overall not bad

i have a hard time welding on car also...most of the time, i use a marker to make referance marks on the pipe, then i weld it in front of me, piece by piece, takes a while, but in the end, it turns out pretty good

other times if a marker is not handy, or i have a friend helping, i tack the pipes in place on car

That's the way my exhaust was when I made it. I threw together a 3" on my EG coupe in a couple hours with 5' 3" pipe, 2 90's, and 2 45's to get over and around the back LCA. It was sexy how easily the fit was. The exhaust dude I bought the 3" pipe from was all like "Man 3" is a tough fit on those small cars." Then he was like "Hey Bob (or whatever his coworker's name was), we got us another Jimmy!" Then they laughed at me saying I would be in there in a couple days trying to get them to put it together for me. Sike!

I've raised the muffler a bit now so it hangs a lot closer to the bumper. I'll get some pics of it soon. Thanks for the comments!
