GT350, The YB is one of the most popular engines to fit over here, but parts are now expensive and 450 to 500 bhp is about the max that they can put out with spending big money. Very nice though :y

I got the Sohc motor turbo'ed last year. It was a tight fit in the engine bay it get the T3 and intercooler in. The only problem i had was running the stock ECU as it has an airflow meter and i fitted the wrong type blow off vlave. I ended up blanking it off it get it running. That will be changed soon as i have fitted a Megasquirt ECU.
A few pics of the Red Escort's engine bay, new manifold and ecu not fitted yet.

This is what is fitted to the Sierra(XR4ti). Its a 2000cc Dohc 8V motor and not very tuneable. So that too will be getting a T3 for a bit of that boosted power.

What type and size of tubing did you use and where did you get it and how much? Im getting ready to build a custom turbo setup for my brothers 92 VW GTI and the last manifold i made was too thin and cracked.

I used 1 1/4" shed 10 Stainless weld elbows and T's. You should get them at any pipe supplier

Been some time since first doing the turbo conversion. Here is the latest update. New manifold built.
Decided to update the manifold in my mk2 Escort RS. This has been on the car for over 5years and worked fine. But i though i could do better.
So got some more pipe and started to work out a split pulse design like the 2wd YB Cosworth 16V.

It went something like this

A few bit to sort out like a 90 bent for the air flow meter and change the 2 1/2" exhaust for something a little bigger (3")
