not sure. she worked real hard. always in class, always in lab & stayed after lab some. got the bookwork, never got the welding part. she could do 4f in short circuit (no 3f, no groove welds) but couldn't run spray/flux or pulse in flat. didn't do well in tig. could run a 7018 ok in 1/2f, couldn't do a 6010/1 at all.
gave up and quit. got a job at some gas station last i heard from her lmao

I hate the 60XX rods, they burn too fast and hard to control them. 7018 is much easier and better to weld with, cleaner too.

i learned to weld on 6010, i really feel the difference between cheap 6010 rods and good 6010 rods.
7018 it does'nt really matter so much but like the HF 6010, there just bad.
plus you can't throw 6010 in the rod oven opposed to 7018 so not the rod to cheap out on :P
