Ive got that same welder, It works ------- great, but now I moved into a rather large apartment without thinking about not having 220v by my garage so im gonna sell it and get a little 110v mig. Mines been used like 5 times, great shape and includes a ~50ft power cord and plug....$175 shipped to your door busta!

^^^^^ i might tak you up on that offer...how much did gas and a torch run you with that thing?

Gas is cheap, maybe $40 including the bottle, you kinda "rent" them from the welding stores...I dont remember what the torch cost, I have a bunch of extra tips/cups etc also

you cant make any cracks at the smiley tools tig i made a ---- ton of manifolds with it and had excellent success.


and when i was done making bank with it, i sold it for 80 percent of what i bought it for.

i got that same welder...its an ok unit to start with and it does a good job...but that doesnt change the fact that its a scratch start...so it take a lil bit to get used to

what is scratch start?..im kindof a newb at this tig stuff...is it like starting a torch you have to use the little sparker thing or do you have to hit the wire a certain way on the metal to get the weld started?
