its my day off from work and i felt like welding, so i did some exhaust work. The original muffler was rusting and just looked funny to me so i decided to replace it with something new.


here's the old muffler




So decided on a 4.5 tip for the new one, but i really didnt realize how big that is until you see it in person.
So here's the new one on the car




I realize that it sits really low and i so am going to raise the car a little and mess with the hangers. Oddly enough it really doesnt scrape as much as i thought i would when i first looked at on the car. Still i'm gonna make a little skid palte for it too.
Yeah, Yeah I know its ricey but i love angle exhaust. My friend calls it "angled like an -------"

 

holy ----, the hatches suck for the rice can mufflers because they don't have the little cut-out in the bumper like the coupes do. The angle looks OK on my friend's coupe, but damn yours is too low and a little far out from your bumper.

 

It looks the same. you went from crap to longer crap.

 

doesnt anyone think the canister is a lil short for its fat *** size? good work on the angle tho...
