haha, seriously though man it looks real good. Know what the power or weight will be when finished?

power levels approaching the 250kw on the wheels mark. I'm trying for 500Kg, so I'll probably end up with 600kg. which is ok for this prototype. Once we go to production, lot's of aluminum will be involved, not to mention carbon fiber and Kevlar... so hopefully then a lot closer to 500Kg's

Be weary of using CF, CF-K, or K when you don't need the outright strength of them. They're much stronger, and much heavier per thickness than fiberglass. Most people don't realize the latter.
If you're just making panels. Save your money & go fiberglass unless you just have to have the look. (Which I think is getting silly at this point.)

Re: New Turbo Manifold

indeed yes. mostly it will probably be for looks, there is not a hell of a lot of covers on the car anyhow. but things like the dash, which is going to be VDO fitted, will be a Carbon Glass Hybrid, basically one top layer in CF and supported with 2 or 3 layers of glass, just to get rid of the flimsiness, purely for looks.....

the tub, however will have to be much stronger, structurally, so there I will probably go for the Kevlar hybrids, very much stronger than just glass, pound4pound. thus for the same weight it can be much stronger. Unfortunately the Kevlar is not UV stable, so it goes dull after a while, a real bummer....

TA. ^-^

It's the std Nissan Trannie that comes with the engine, with a couple of small improvements, copper clutch and LSD upgrade. I still need to figure the gear linkage on it, it's solid, and now with the engine in the rear, things are going to get real interesting....
