i made one of those years ago, but instead of wasteding a socket, i had a peice of steel that i machined 2 lines out of and put a square hole in the end...

I'd have used a regular bolt head, but then again I don't have spare tools to throw to the cause. I think I'm going to do this, since my big 3ton jack gets heavy after doing lots of exhaust work, upsidedown.

haha i been stealin the jack outa the step pops truck for a while 1 1/4 socket fits perfect put the impact on that bad boy and up she goes! that jack will get it up high enough to get a transmission out with very very little diging in the rocks. solid work my friend solid work...
