Default Harbor Freight Flux-core welder question

Are any other tips compatible with this beast? i.e. Lincoln, etc? Or do I have to get them through the manufactuererer?

That's a good question. The HF welder comes with a couple extra tips. They look the same as other brands.

OOOO I KNOW I KNOW!!!!!!! You have to call the harbor frieght 800 number for ordering, they carry the tips....When I first got my mig from them I went to a local shop to get gas and ended up bullshitting, I told the guy it was a HF welder and he was like "you better order tips from them because no others will work and when you ---- the ones you have up, your welder is pretty much trash".....so i called and ordered a bunch, they were like ~$8 for each pack of 10. I got like 40 lol....good luck

take the tips with you to a welding supply shop.

they should have all kinds of tips; tweco makes parts for just about everything; i got a gas difuser nozzle for my lincoln that cost nearly $30 through lincoln; was $6 for the tweco one even at inflated local markup. If anything you can probably get another gas difuser to fit that uses standard tips.
