Default griding tungsten

do you think this will grid my tungsten alright for me and if not whats a cheap grinder or belt sander to use

That would work. but a grinding stone would last much longer.

carbrandum sanding belts ftw. they make a belt for grinding (super hard ---- like) tungsten

I love my 30 buck craftsman grinder. has 2 wheels. i use the fine one for tungsten, and the other for w/e. no shipping, just a trip to sears.

Works well, particularly after you have used it a while and a groove starts forming in the grinding stone.
I think I found it on sale for a tad over $20.

Both of my wheels on my 6" bench grinder are dedicated (left aluminum, right others). The 12" grinder is the one that does all the real grinding.

I bought a grinder and im not getting it how i want it. i was wondering have you noticed alot of improvment with the arc when using those kind of grinders. Because if it makes me better and puts down cleaner welds then its worth the 230

anyone notice the cheapy wheels leave some sorta resido on the tungsten? i noticed the wheel at my buddies welding shop makes my welder create a different arc than my hf cheapo wheel
